 Anya Consiglio MD

Dr. Anya Consiglio is a Ventura County native who is proud to return to the Ventura and Santa Barbara communities. She earned her degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 2002, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara in 2005. After residency, she opened a successful private practice in Santa Barbara before relocating to Washington, where she raised her family while continuing to practice Internal Medicine. During her years there, she served on a hospital board of directors, worked as Medical Director for a large post-acute care facility, and cared for complex patients, while also focusing on geriatrics, women’s health, and behavioral health.

Known for her empathy and communication, Dr. Consiglio became discouraged by the time limitations of traditional, insurance-based systems that left little room for patient relationships. She joined House Call Doctor Thousand Oaks to provide the kind of personalized, attentive care that patients deserve, ensuring that each visit allows time to fully understand and address her patients’ needs.

Dr. Consiglio and her husband, Brian, are happy to be back in California to be closer to family. Their son, Gavin, is now attending college in San Diego, and outside of medicine she enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, boating, and spending time outdoors with her family.
