Carl McQuillan

Carl is a junior in the Bachelor of Science biology major with a minor in chemistry at CSUCI and also working part time here at HCDTO. As a medical clerk Carl gets to see all the different parts that go into a patient’s medical treatment. He specifically wanted that varied experience to help decide where his career should be in medicine or the biological sciences.

 

As a younger man Carl was the Captain (as both a Junior and Senior) of the championship wrestling team at TOHS, which may have been perfect training for wrestling straight answers out of insurance companies and huge corporate medicine conglomerates. Working on your behalf, he doesn’t take “no” for an answer. Carl also worked for several years at the regional pathology laboratory. He learned what is needed to coordinate specimens and return results rapidly.​
